Originally from South Africa, Prajen relocated to the UK and is excited to continue his physiotherapy career as part of the team at Witty, Pask & Buckingham. He brings over five years of experience across private practice and acute hospital settings, developing a broad clinical background with musculoskeletal physiotherapy as his main area of interest. He has further developed his expertise in this field through postgraduate study, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Neuromuscular Physiotherapy.

Prajen has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and post-operative conditions throughout his career, with a particular interest in back and shoulder conditions. He enjoys a hands-on approach to physiotherapy and is experienced in a range of techniques such as:

  • Joint mobilisation
  • Manipulations
  • Soft tissue techniques
  • Dry needling
  • Sports taping

Alongside his private practice experience, Prajen has worked extensively in acute hospital environments, giving him experience in managing a wide variety of complex presentations. He also works within the NHS, continuing to develop his clinical experience within the UK healthcare system.

Outside of physiotherapy, Prajen is a keen sports enthusiast and enjoys cricket, padel and strength training, as well as following a variety of other sports and outdoor activities. His own passion for staying active is something he brings into his clinical practice, with the aim of helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.
