This is where the neck of the femur pinches the edge of the hip joint and can damage the fibrous rim (labrum). The neck of the femur can grow slightly thicker than usual and make this problem worse.
There are many things that we can do but the best thing is to make an early diagnosis to ensure the damage is limited. Treatment of these includes exercise and mobilisation work and our physios have in-depth experience of this. Some can result in surgery but success is dependent on the damages caused so sooner the better.
We have excellent links with the best surgeons in Europe to help with this – so get it seen!
