Trauma to the shoulder

Traumatic injury to the shoulder joint generally involves a strong force to the shoulder either directly or transferred through the arm or elbow. Traumatic injury can also occur if the arm is suddenly loaded with weight that it was not expecting and therefore the soft tissue gives way. If you have seriously injured your shoulder due trauma or an accident you should seek urgent medical attention.
